Dsc03109_2

On Thursday we went to Cookworthy with Eddy our travelling teddy. First we went to the roundhouse and talked. Years 2 and 3 knew some stuff about the Celtics; I was in charge of Eddy.

Then we split up in to groups years two and three stayed in the round house and made name necklaces. While years 4 and 5 found animals foot prints, then we had lunch. After lunch our roundhouse teacher made us sweet potato and parsnips.Dsc03159

Next years 2 and 3 had to find animal foot prints we found lots of animal foot prints.

This is when the fun started, there were lots of pictures of taken of me and Eddy. I think Eddy had such a good time as he was so tired when we got back to school and I had a good time.Dsc03234

Eddy’s first outing to a gymnastics competition

Published by Eddy at 7:43 am under England, Uncategorized Edit This

Mrs Southam (year 2&3 Teacher) brought me to the prep school car park to meet the form captain Jamie to take me to Fenton. I found out that Fenton is in Stoke on Trent. By the way my name is Eddy the Edgehill bear.  I got there by mini bus.  I stopped for tea at the services in Bristol.

I had chips from KFC.     s4021976.JPG

After I finished my chips I went to get a drink.

Then it was off to get some sweets.                 s4021979.JPG

I wanted a book to read

It was 10pm and stopped for the night at a travel lodge, the journey took us about 5 hours, and I had a sore bottom after sitting on the hard seat. I went to sleep with my friends

In the morning I went to Miss Venners room for my breakfast, I had a bread roll and a cereal bar with some juice.  We got changed for a gymnastics competition. I went with Jamie in Miss Venners minibus.  At 9am Jamie and the rest of the boys had their warm up.  I went with boys when they marched onto the floor  I watched while the boys competed on the vault and the floor.

And I managed to sneak a go on the vault

I also went round the girls from Edgehill. After the competition we had to wait for the results Joe Taylor-Richards came 6th and the under 11 boy’s team came 5th.   The under 11 girls got silver and the under 9 girls came 6th.

Then it was time to go home with everyone.  I went to sleep on the minibus.  At the services Jamie got a new friend for me on the way back to Edgehill. In the morning I went back to school to meet the rest of the class, but first I tried Jamie’s blazer on, but it was too big for me.

I am very lucky to live in the beautiful countryside of North Devon, England, within a few short miles of a wonderful beach. I am looking forward to having many adventures and being able to share them all with you. My class are very lucky and they do lots of exciting things and I am looking forward to accompanying them to many events. I have already been on my first outing to a gymnastics competition and Jamie our Form Captain will be helping me to write about my first big adventure, watch this space.
